There is a small wetlands at the Burke Center VRE station, behind the
Target. This morning a Cooper's Hawk flew through the area, scattered a
small band of pigeons, considered going after the numerous house sparrows
and settled down in the marsh somewhere to reconsider his options. It's the
first time I've seen a hawk there.

PS: Are the purple martins still roosting in Richmond or have they
dispersed ?
