We birded parts of Clarke, Frederick, & Warren Counties today. Notable birds
were:
BW TEAL - 7 on a pond in northern Warren (all flew away)
DICKCISSEL - 1 proudly, & loudly, singing male - a few miles south of
Winchester (acted very territorial, like he might stick around a few days?)
This was my first Dickcissel in Frederick Co, let alone that it's only my 4th
for the whole state, so it was definitely a fun find!
No shorebirds to speak of, except for some Killdeer & 2 Solitary SP - 1 in
Clarke & 1 with the Teal in Warren.
