Spent 2 hours at Meadowoods this morning and saw many Indigo Buntings, Orchard
Orioles, Chipping and Field Sparrows but no Dickcissel, even though others had
seen it briefly. As I decided to call it a day I met back up with another
gentleman who also on the way out said he saw it fly off down the last trail
before the parking lot. And so we went up it just a bit and the bird flew to
the top of a short tree along the hedgerow and gave us a show for 3 or 4
minutes. It was a great view.
