Thanks to a tip from Elton Morel, I went over to Meadowood this morning to
look for the DIckcissel on the Mustang Trail.
The Mustang Trailhead is about 100 yards from the intersection of Harley Road
and Gunston Road (on Harley Road). The first birds I found were a singing Blue
Grosbeak and a singing Louisiana Waterthrush. Once I walked along the trail a
bit, I found the Dickcissel singing from a tree right next to the trail near
the second pair of Bluebird boxes. The bird then flew to a large Cedar in the
middle of the field and continued singing. I got an OK photo before the
Dickcissel flew out of range,

This is my first DIckcissel ever in Fairfax County.
