Thanks to Kevin Shanks for the heads up on the Dickcissels at the
Rappahannock WMA - Wilna Unit. As soon as we began to cruise the meadow,
there they were. Posing and singing. We didn't get there until around 11:30
so the sun was getting high and it was warming up. Also got some pics of
Grasshopper Sparrow. There were a lot of Indigo Buntings and Blue Grosbeaks,
but too far off to get pictures. Also saw an Eastern Pee-Wee in the wooded
road. Once it got really hot, the meadows were silent. Best to go early.
