This morning I walked about 1.5 miles clockwise around part of the tidal
lagoon at Dutch Gap. The first 2 species I saw at the trail head were a
Ruby-throated Hummingbird and Yellow-throated Warbler, so I took that as a good
omen. Yellow-billed Cuckoos were vocal the entire time I was on the
trail...a total of 5 seen and/or heard. Raptors were very active early with
only the Osprey continuing to hunt during the heat of late morning. A list
