I had a great birding day even though it was a work day. Took an
extended lunch and went over to Dutch Gap and then went back after work
as well. Lots of ring necked ducks and coots. Also some shovelers,
mallards, several osprey, and a pair of bald eagles. A gorgeous evening
sunset and eagle pair made for some nice pictures.
Also, at the bridge off route 10 going into Hopewell, behind the hotel,
were two different pairs of eagles. An immature pair at lunch time and
an older pair after work.
