Weather limited attendance of the weekly Friends of Dyke Marsh birdwalk to
myself and Ed Eder, who I ran into after I started to explore the marina. It
was raining at the start but it stopped after a while. Birding was very slow,
and activity did not pick up much after the rain stopped, much to my surprise.
However, there were a few intresting birds about. Two least bitterns were
flying over the marsh, I heard a Canada warbler (sort of garbled song), and
also a couple of marsh wrens. Here is the full list:
