Fellow birders,
Seven persons joined me for the weekly walk at Dyke Marsh
this morning, which starts at 8 each Sunday morning from the south Bell
Haven parking lot off the GW Parkway and is free to all. Highlights of a
misty morning included seeing almost 100 Great Egrets and Great Blue Herons,
two Osprey, 7 Bald Eagles, over 75 Forster's Terns and nine warbler species.
Ducks were present in good numbers, most notably Blue-winged Teal, Northern
