My morning walk around the northern boundaries of the "Big Gut" area
of Dyke Marsh provided some fun activity which I presumed to be
migration.
5 Turkey Vultures
2 Black Vultures
2 RT Hawks
1 Sharpie and
1 juv. Bald Eagle - (might be a resident)
all drifting in a northerly direction ~ 10:45a.
Edges of the marsh yielded
2 GB Herons
1 WT Sparrow
2 Song Sparrows
and a mix of the usual suspects - Downy & RB WP, RW Blackbirds, Car.
Wrens and Chickadees...
