- Comments: "Clearly observed swimming with a large flock of Canada Geese.
Swam alone, and along side other geese, allowing good observation with
binoculars and with scope. Appeared to be a half-size Canada Goose. This
may be the same Cackling Goose observed and photographed by Evan Spears at
this same location earlier in the week. In comparison with Canada Geese,
neck, body, and bill much smaller, coloration the same as other geese."

overall plumage, small head, golden nape, and tawny bars on upperwings.
Adult #2 spotted while adult #1 was still in sight coming up in the same
general area. Proceeded to maintain rather low altitude and fly directly
overhead providing some of the nicest looks I've ever had of GOEA!
Identified by same field marks as adult #1.
