Hi,
At Elklick Woodlands Natural Area Preserve in Centreville on Monday, migrants
were scarce. I even missed some common resident birds. I suspect the mostly
light rain kept things rather quiet. I did hear a calling SUMMER TANAGER. I
searched but couldn't find this close by bird. A pair of COMMON RAVENS flew
east over the east-west right-of-way. A lone WILD TURKEY walked in this
right-of-way as well.
The only definite migrants were two singing Blackpoll Warblers.
