I pulled into the driveway about7:45 tonight and was treated to my male
summer tanager.....he has been around the past 4-5 years during the
summer months. Good to see him back. Beautiful bird. He was already
looking in the window in the kitchen.
I also have a bird nested in the side of my house...a gorgeous bluebird
that was sitting on my bathroom window and flying up and down my kitchen
windows. I peaked around the corner and watched as he headed up toward
the second floor and landed on the cedar siding. Then I see a head pop
out...mom saying hey. I am guessing we will have to fill holes once
nesting season is over.
