The 5 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks (3 male, 2 female) were back and spent
another day today. I guess it was the same 5 since the sexes were the same and
I
saw them as late as 7:30 pm Monday and 8:30 am today, Tuesday. There are
3 at the feeder as I write this at 7 pm.
I called my sister and brother in law since they are "new" birders and was
afraid they would not see any since they would not arrive until after 2pm.
But, no worries; they had great looks and a new yard bird showed up while
they were here.....female Orchard Oriole. She was 15 feet from the window
but only stayed in view for 2-3 minutes. I surely am going to keep watch
again tomorrow!
