More and more Fall warblers are moving through VA on their way to southern
wintering grounds. The appearance of all the cryptic Fall warblers
Tennessee, Bay-Breasted, and Cape Mays is a good reminder that *our eBird
checklists should be going into 'regular' eBird instead of the Atlas portal*
.
If you've accidentally entered some checklists with NO BREEDING CODES into
the Atlas portal, then no biggie! Just follow the directions in this
article:

move them over to the correct portal.
It is very easy to forget to change your portal setting back to eBird.org
once Fall arrives, so help us out! Remind your birding buds to check their
portal, so we can keep the VABBA2 dataset focused on breeding birds.
We've been a little quiet these last few weeks, as we begin to dig into
post-season data assessment and analysis. *Our volunteers surpassed the
2017 data collection efforts by over 30,000 records!* Well done, Atlasers!
As we move through the data cleanup process this Fall, we will continue to
push out highlights and accomplishments from this third field season.
