Very cold (34F) and windy but birds everywhere. Hundreds of Ring0Necked
Ducks, and Ruddy Ducks. Highlights (for me):
Canvasback - 2, among a flock of Ruddy Ducks
Bonaparte's Gull - 1, hanging with a flock of Ring-Necks

Also saw a flock of 19 geese, four of which were all white; the rest looked
like the Greater White-Fronted in the field guides - or the Barnyard
Goose. Anyone familiar with this flock?
