There was a heavy fog all day today at Gwynn's Island that severely limited
visibility of off-shore species. Inland visibility wasn't much better,
but there were intermitted times where the fog cleared a little. The one
species that was always visible was the Eastern Bluebird. Osprey were in
good abundance starting at the bridge onto the island all the way to Sandy
Point. The Sandy Point area is part of the Western Shore Marshes IBA and
where I spent most of the day.
