This six inches of a light dusting of snow has brought out of hiding 2 fox
sparrows, the male towhee and my FOS brown thrasher. He was first seen on
a window ledge where I had scattered a few seeds for the little birds out
of the snow then I next saw him on the suet feeder. He picked a rather
difficult day to arrive.
The yard is alive with birds, grackles, red winged blackbirds in various
stages of dress, cardinals, juncos, white throats, chickadees, robins, song
sparrows,et. al. trying to make a living in the snow.
It's beautiful but enough already!
