Friday morning (November 16) I saw a Fox Sparrow in the grass below my
feeders. I was very excited because it is the first one I have ever seen
(identified anyway) in my life. Not only the red color and large size
gave him away but the fact that he was scratching about in the grass and
doing a funny little hop. I hope he comes back.
