I birded Franklin Park, between Purcellville and Round Hill, yesterday
morning and this morning. I focused on the field surrounded by woodland
which is to the left as you first drive in and is on the left side of the
driving range. Looks like a great spot for sparrows and other birds which
favor overgrown, uncut fields.
Both lists are below. Highlights being Blue-headed Vireo, Blackpoll Warbler,
and Nashville Warbler yesterday, and Hermit Thrush, Black-throated Green
Warbler, Nashville Warbler, and White-crowned Sparrow today.
