I walked the canal path from Washington Avenue to the Embrey Dam site this
morning and recorded 58 species. DC Cormorant numbers were way down. In
addition to the regulars, I had

2 Field Sparrows
1 Chipping Sparrow
19 White-throated Sparrows
4 Song Sparrows
2 Swamp Sparrows
4 Orchard Orioles (3 ad. males)
3 Baltimore Orioles (2 ad. males)
