I birded the downtown canal path on the morning of 12/24 from Washington Avenue
to the site of the old Embrey Dam. Picked up 2-3 Red-breasted Nuthatches as I
crossed Fall Hill Avenue behind the Freinds of the Rappahannock offices. Also
had a Brown Thrasher. The full list is:
