I hope this posts, as I have been having some difficulty getting things to show
up on Va-bird. Not sure what the problem is. I too have seen Brown Thrashers
in Fredericksburg in every month of the year. In my experience, however, they
are rare between November and March, which appears to coprrespond with the
account in the Yellow Book. So I was pleased to have one scratching around
among the White-throated sparrows in the yard.
