Russ Taylor and I headed over to Conway Robinson State Forest after leaving
Brawner Farm, and in spite of the heat and time of day, we were rewarded with
some nice birds. There has been logging and thinning of pine forest, but it is
still a very nice place to bird. We found 2 flocks of mixed warblers, vireos,
chickadees, titmice, and others. The Pine Warblers were heard singing, and we
heard a Yellow-billed Cuckoo and a Barred Owl. Complete list is below.
