As posted earlier, 2 Horned Grebes were a good find this morning, and 1 Am.
Wigeon (drake) seen as well.
I stopped by DM at low tide yesterday and saw a few RB Gulls and two Caspian
Terns... just to round out the picture. Bald Eagles on the power tower nest (NW
corner of Rt 1 and Beltway) fledged two youngsters this week. Adult was seen
perched on top platform this morning - must have empty nest syndrome... Nyuk,
Nyuk, Nyuk...
