We birded behind the Gloucester Public Library and scanned the dozens of dead
trees with woodpecker holes. 6 woodpecker species were observed but we missed
the Pileated which is present. This is a convenient place for birders on the
Middle Peninsula to see Red-Headed Woodpeckers.
