Subject: [Discussions] Gr Wh Fr Geese and Short Eared Owl
Since it was such a beautiful day out, we went out to the Harrison Road
ponds in The Plains and found 2 Greater White Fronted Geese there amongst
all the Canandas. Also there were 2 Ruddy Ducks, 15 Hooded Mergansers, 3
Ring necked Ducks, 1 Bufflehead, 4 Bald Eagles (3A, 1Imm), 1 American
Kestrel along with some small flocks of Horned Larks
After there we went out to Rectortown Road outside of Marshall and found 1
Short Eared Owl patroling the field. Also there were 1 Red shouldered Hawk,
1 Red tailed Hawk and 1 White crowned Sparrow.
