Late this morning I drove to Gravelly Point (just west of the DC National
Airport) to see if the Bobolinks were still/again present. Guess they what,
they were! I spend about 40 minutes at the point and saw 33 Bobolinks! The
planes spooked the birds every time one took off and as a group the birds
flew around. Awesome. I took a few pictures and if they are any good I'll
post them later.

Monticello was initially very quiet. Plenty of Black-throated Blue Warblers,
a few Black-throated Green Warblers, and plenty of Red-eyed Vireos. Mid
afternoon things started to look up with Scarlet Tanager (>2), Rose-breasted
Grosbeaks (>3), Magnolia Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, and Bay-breasted
Warbler and an Acadian Flycatcher. Not bad considering the weather.
