I visited James River Park yesterday and photographed the white-eyed vireo
on her nest. I stayed for about 30 minutes, was careful to keep my
distance, and she never flushed from the nest. Here is the link to one

Other notables were: mama wood duck on the pond with 3 young, a spotted
sandpiper, red-eyed vireo, blue-gray gnatcatcher.
Also yesterday from the yard, I witnessed a cooper's hawk raid a robin's
nest in the neighbor's large magnolia tree and carry off one nestling, with
mama robin screeching and following behind.
