About 9:30 this morning a GREAT EGRET visited the pond at A.M Fog nursery near
the border of Albemarle and Nelson County (On Rt. 151, a few miles south of US
250). It flew in from the north and is probably just passing through on its way
south. Not a "rare" bird for those of you in the eastern part of the state, but
one we only see here as they pass through on migration.
