Sally Wechler lead our group of 8 on an active bird walk this morning.
Poison Ivy berries were the big attraction for birds today, especially for
Yellow-rumped Warblers. Palm Warbler, Blue-headed Vireo, Brown Creeper, and
both Kinglets were also present. A very vocal Common Raven was found
circling above in the company of an adult Red-tailed Hawk. The list follows.
We meet at 8 AM at the visitors' center every Sunday. All are invited to
join us.
