Our group of five tallied 35 species. Highlights included very cooperative
chipping sparrow and sapsucker,
a pine warbler and tree swallows. The tree swallows were resting in the trees
on an island above the falls
when they took off as a flock with many returning to the trees while others
were flying low over the river.
All are welcome to join this 8am Sunday walk which meets at the visitors center
courtyard. -- Marshall
