Our hardy group tallied 36 species on this beautiful day. With the river
high and fast, there was a paucity of ducks. There were excellent views of
a very cooperative hermit thrush.
This walk meets at 8:00am on Sundays in the visitors center courtyard and
all are welcome.
My thanks to Sally Wechsler and Ralph Wall for their capable leadership
and tallying in my absence. --Marshall Rawson, McLean VA
