Our group of eleven tallied 41 species (+1 other taxa). It was a quiet morning
with the river running high and fast. We were afforded good views of juvenile
warbling vireos upstream and a very cooperative parula. All are welcome to
join this regular Sunday walk that meets at 8:00 am in the visitors center
parking lot. -- Marshall Rawson, McLean VA
