Judy Hinch stopped by for about an hour and a half to visit the hawkwatch
for the first time.
Weather:
Lots of clouds with a mix of sun and shade, NW shifting to SE 3-8 mph, high
of 71 degrees.
Raptor Observations:
Birds were pretty high all day. One of eagles was an adult and one was not
seen well enough to age.
Non-raptor Observations:
Monarch (9), NonMonarch (3), Saddlebag (6), Green Darner (7), DC Cormorant
(4), RT Hummer (1), Blue Jay (6), Swallow sp. (1).
Predictions:
This will probably wrap up the semi-regular coverage of the watch, which is
typically restricted to the last half of September.
