Official Counter: Bill Grant
Observers: Bill James, Jim Hylton
Visitors:
Too cold for people to roll down their windows. Curiosity is
climate-dependent.
Weather:
Great NW winds all day long. Cold and clear. Car-hawking day.
Raptor Observations:
Still looking for Rockfish's Sunday RTs. Had a Adult Bald Eagle going the
wrong way who, after being harassed by two Ravens, decided to sit in a tree
down the ridge. Took off after further annoyance to the South. Appeared
to have either a leg tag or some kind of leg tangle. Will look at the
photos and put on the web site, if revealing. Later, an Adult Golden went
through non-stop and steady.
Non-raptor Observations:
Little traffic. Ranger Kathy stopped by with a Blue Ridge Hawk brochure
listing us!
Predictions:
SE winds. Less than ideal so maybe the RFRTs will fly.
