Visitors:
See above.Vehicle traffic becoming very light; ditto for hikers. We may
have had one through hiker but he did not stop so we could not ask.
Weather:
Cool and blustery
Raptor Observations:
12:29 Goshawk. Unidentified raptor - semi-albino RT was the suggestion
offered by Liz. Appeared to have light or white on the head and tail, but
did not seem to have the right body shape for an eagle. Did not see the
bird until it was even with us, on the west side, and had a knife-edge
angle.
Non-raptor Observations:
Jon Holter (Park Ranger supervisor) stopped by to see if we were amenable
to sharing info with a Liberty intern and we said yes. David Boggs later
brought intern Trevor Cheek by to talk with us. They will be back again on
Thursday and I will be taking more info to give to them. If anyone has
anything they think the young man should know please feel free to come join
us. They do not expect to be there until after about 3:00 pm.
