Visitors:
Lots of folks looking for hawks and driving the parkway looking for
colorful leaves. Some color.
Weather:
All weather sources predicted 10-15 mph NE winds (do I pay taxes for this
information?) and the winds were light and variable all day.
Raptor Observations:
Most birds way out once again with the lack of wind to make our site
useful. An adult eagle approached us from the North, but never was seen
going by. Perhaps it attached a passing weatherman......
Non-raptor Observations:
Hikers on the AT going both ways. Group from Buena Vista assisted early
on.
Predictions:
The probability of the weatherman knowing something will change.
