Observation end time: 17:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours
Official Counter: Bill James
Observers: Baron Gibson, David Kirk
Visitors:
Several families and passers-by passed by. Sue Coleman was a big help.
Weather:
Lots of well directed wind, warm temperatures, clouds in the PM.
Raptor Observations:
Certainly looked like we should have had more than we did, but the Eagles
were nice:
All adults: 10:41, 11:43, and 1:36.
BWs were late mostly.
Non-raptor Observations:
Hollins University visited and the count improved. Despite the trends I
hear about, Hollins students are getting smarter - especially with visual
processing. Their very competent teacher asked about someone named Tad.
They brought a nice Eagle and then one going NE. Baron makes a good
assistant teach.
Predictions:
All those Rockfish BE's will not get past BK!
