Observation start time: 09:15:00
Observation end   time: 16:30:00
Total observation time: 7.25 hours

Official Counter:        Baron Gibson

Observers:        Bill James, Katie James

Visitors:
Lot's,,,no many,,,bunches of RV's coming into the lot and going by on the
Parkway. Lot's of peeps stopping to inquire what we were doing.

A coupe from England advised us that in England, we are called
"Twitchers". Gonna have to investigate that!!!

Weather:
Cold temps with blustery NW winds early and throughout most of the watch
with clear blue skies all watch and then the wind diminished and changed to
westerly near the end of the watch.

Raptor Observations:
Hawks were low and overhead early but soon got high and out as the thermals
formed. Hawks in the afternoon were found by scanning except for the Imm BE
@ 12:35 that was spotted by BJ directly overhead and fairly low. Also the
first NG of the year @ 10:23.

At the end of the watch 53 TV's were observed coming into the NW side of
the watch. Several kettles were formed and the TV's repeatedly kettled and
soured until heading south and going out of sight. Migrants or locals???
That is why we do not TV's, KT spotted a SS and later I found an RT that
was kettling and flying with them.

Non-raptor Observations:
Not much else observed in way of other birds today.

Predictions:
Warm temps, clear skies again, not much wind. Wonder if anyone should even
bother taking my day as I have to work???
