Official Counter: Barry Kinzie
Observers: Bill Adams, Bill James, David Kirk, Dillard Childress,
Goffs
Visitors:
Lots of old friends by to see what was moving and if we still were.
Weather:
Strong winds from the Northwest as Irene went up the coast leaving us also
with warm temperatures and occasional white clouds.
Raptor Observations:
Immature BE at 10:10. BW's in singles up and/or out. Some people feel
they have to see an Osprey to know they are still alive. We were all alive
today.
Non-raptor Observations:
Lots of Parkway riders - most for this early part of the hawk year. 15
Cedar Waxwings, 1 Baltimore Oriole.
Predictions:
Not as much wind or people, but something always happens on the knob.
