The emergency response was for the missing man - found dead. Sad. I read
the "missing man" article earlier in the week and it reported he disappeared
the same day after being released from the hospital.

AFTON - The body of a missing Fishersville man has been found, off the Blue
Ridge Parkway, south of the Humpback Rocks Visitor Center, according to the
Augusta County Sheriff's Office.
The body of Harvey Mars was discovered this afternoon about 40 feet off the
road and down an embankment.
Deputies are still working the scene.
A family member said relatives were told Mars' body was discovered in his
car, when an artist painting near the visitor center noticed the vehicle
below the road. The artist climbed down, found the body and alerted the
Sheriff's Office, the family member said.
Mars, 70, was last seen Wednesday, when he told his wife he was going out to
start the family car, which hadn't been driven in a couple of weeks. He
drove off and family members had not seen him since.
He had been released from the hospital that afternoon, after a short stay to
treat high blood sugar. A diabetic, Mars needed six doses of insulin daily.
