Weather:
Light breeze out of the NW shifting to SE mid-afternoon. Mostly clear with
a few clouds moving in toward the latter part of the count period. Hazy in
the valleys.
Raptor Observations:
Few migrants but a nice variety - nothing seen after wind shifted to the
south.
Non-raptor Observations:
A couple of small strings of migrating Blue Jays passed the overlook. Two
Chimney Swifts observed, as well as a migrating Red-headed Woodpecker -
several unidentified warblers flew by. Monarch butterflies more evident
today.
Predictions:
Weather forecast is for partly cloudy skies with a possibility of
thunderstorms in the PM.
