Weather:
Today saw mostly overcast conditions with occasional showers and drizzle.
There were a few sunny breaks in the afternoon. Winds were moderate
west-southwest becoming west in mid morning and then west-northwest in the
mid afternoon.
Raptor Observations:
The flight was sporadic overall with pulses of activity generally
corresponding with the brighter portions of the day. Overall it was not a
bad migration day given the unsettled conditions.
Non-raptor Observations:
Large numbers of swallows were present in the afternoon, mostly Tree
Swallows but a single Barn and Northern Rough-wing were spotted as well.
