Visitors:
Lots of visitors up on the platform today enjoying the birds and the
weather.
Weather:
Warm temperatures with blue skies and light southerly winds.
Raptor Observations:
A trickle of mostly accipiters again today. An immature Northern Goshawk
slowly went south along the far treeline to the east in the afternoon.
Non-raptor Observations:
Another lovely flight of birds this morning consisting of mostly American
Robins, blackbirds, Tree Swallows, and finches. Hundreds of Pine Siskins
and American Goldfinches again today, along with a noticeable flight of
House Finches and a few Purple Finches. Red (11) and White-winged
Crossbills (2) were both detected.
Predictions:
South winds and a few more clouds tomorrow.
