Our group of seven tallied 31 species on a warm November morning. Cedar
waxwings were eating berries in a number of locations. I forgot to mention
last week that were treated to the lovely song of a winter wren while this week
all we heard was the two note call. Turtles were sunning on several logs in
the clay pond. It was a beautiful day to be in the park. All are welcome to
join this Sunday walk that meets at 8am in the main parking lot and moves then
through the visitors center courtyard to the second overlook. --
