Weather:
Today saw more or less a repeat performance of yesterday's weather with
cloudless skies and light winds. Winds varied just slightly from west to
west-southwest.
Raptor Observations:
As the previous day, there was a movement of Sharpies early and then a
lull, with a slow build-up of birds as temperatures warmed. A very good
flight was seen during the middle portions of the day and followed by a
sharp drop-off in mid to late afternoon. Kestrels continue to be a nice
surprise late in the month with another fine day turned in by Sharpies and
Coops as well. Broad-wings also continue to be seen in decent numbers.
