Observers:
Weather:
Today saw sunny skies with high cirrus and con-trails with a bit of heavier
cloud moving in during mid-afternoon. Winds were light to moderate and
predominately from the southwest.
Raptor Observations:
There was a steady but somewhat lighter movement of birds today with much
of the flight being at treetop level allowing for some excellent views of
birds. Kestrels again pushed through in good late October numbers while
most other species were less numerous than in the past couple of days.
Non-raptor Observations:
Tree Swallows and Yellow-rumped Warblers continue to be the most numerous
non-raptors seen with thousands of both noted over the last several days.
