Raptor Observations:
Good flight of Broad-winged Hawks until 1pm then none until after 4pm.
Non-raptor Observations:
Brian Lorey and son Nicholas age 14 with Ralph Lugo and sons Jonathon, age
11 and David, age 10, These youngsters were truly birders. They were
spotting and identifying hawks with no help and were also identifying
warblers, woodpeckers and other songbirds. It was truly a pleasure to watch
them. It was also a pleasure to have Adam and Josh Alley and Jacob and
Caleb Miller come back to help again today. There are also excellent young
birders. All of these youngsters were unfailingly polite, courteous,
knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around.
