I have been watching for increase in hawk activity of hawks and eagles
between Marshal and The Plains in Fauquier County. There were a lot of
birds on Zulla and Harrison Road. I spotted a group of 3 hawks, probably
Red-Tailed just south of Harrison Road, just about 1/4 mile east of Belvoir
Road. Further east near on Harrison Road, near the large pond on the
North side, I spotted another raptor perched on a tree in the middle of the
field. I will return tomorrow with binoculars to get a look at the bird
